Tune-In Tonight to The Hollywood Insider Show on Tarot Today Radio!

Looks like it’s going to be another fun weekend at the movies.

The long-anticipated “Shrek” spin-off “Puss in Boots” is opening tomorrow with an all-star (voice) cast. Antonio Banderas plays the title role and Salma Hayek is his love interest. Billy Bob Thornton plays Jack of ‘Jack ‘n Jill’ fame with Amy Sedaris as Jill. Rounding out the cast is funny man Zach Galifianakis playing Humpty Dumpty.

If you remember your nursery rhymes, then you already know not everything is going to go smoothly for these characters, but I can tell you that this animated film looks stunning and is full of laughs and moments that make you go “Awww.”

It looks like Dreamworks is hoping for a multi-species audience. Check out this glamorous Cat Premiere -- Me-wow!

Also in theatres this weekend, Justin Timberlake hits the big screen with the sci-fi crime thriller “In Time.” It’s a very interesting premise for a film – the good news is everyone stops aging at 25. The not so good news is they only get to live one more year after that unless they can buy themselves more time.

Needless to say, the cast is a showcase for young Hollywood with Amanda Seyfried playing Timberlake’s ladylove and Olivia Wilde – surprisingly – playing Timberlake’s mother! (She’s actually 3 years younger than him in real life. Shhh – don’t tell anyone…)

Check out the trailer below.

Looking for something a little different than animated kitties and sci-fi? Johnny Depp takes on a Hunter S. Thompson character in “The Rum Diary.” If you loved Depp in “Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas,” then you’ll definitely like him in this. The book the movie is based on is one of Thompson’s earlier works.

Johnny was very close to Thompson and is excited for people to see this movie because he feels it shows a different side of the Gonzo journalist. Thompson died in 2005, but if you listen to the audio clip below, it sounds like Johnny still feels very connected to him. And, it sure sounds like Depp isn’t ruling out bringing more of Thompson’s work to the big screen.
